居民文化参与的个体动因和社区调节——基于多层线性模型的检验

Individual Motivation and Community Moderation of Residents’Cultural Participation:Based on Multi-Layer Linear Model

居民广泛参与公共文化服务是实现和维护人民基本文化权益的重要前提。文章从个体动因和社区激励两个方面探究居民文化参与行为的发生机制,利用CGSS2015年调查数据进行实证检验。研究发现,在个体层面,生活水平、参与体验和社会地位能显著提升居民的各项公共文化服务参与水平,控制变量中受教育程度对参与行为的促进作用最大;在社区层面,社区公共文化服务质量评价能促进居民将既往参与体验更大程度地转化为现实的阅读、活动参与行为;社区公共文化服务口碑更利于提高当地弱势群体的文化参与水平,反过来也突显出公共文化服务供给与当地精英化、小众化需求之间的现实张力。

Extensive participation of residents in public cultural services is an important prerequisite for realizing and safeguarding people’s basic cultural rights and interests.In this paper,the mechanism of cultural participation is explored from two aspects,i.e.,individual motivation and community moderation,and the CGSS2015 survey data is used for empirical testing.The results show that:(1)at the individual level,living standard,experience of participation and social status can significantly enhance the level of residents’participation in public cultural services;and for the control variables,education level affects the participation behavior mostly;(2)at the community level,evaluation on past experience in public cultural services can promote residents’participation in reading and cultural activities to a greater extent.Indeed,the reputation of community public cultural services will be conducive to improving the degree of cultural participation by local vulnerable groups.This in turn reflects the tension of supply of public cultural services with the local elite and niche demand.
