An Analysis of Yu Feian’s Painting and Calligraphy Appreciation Activities

关于书画鉴赏活动在中国文人生活中所扮演的角色与功能,已成为当下中国美术史研究的重要课题。本文针对于非闇(1889-1959)的书画鉴赏活动进行研究,探讨于氏在书画鉴赏方面的养成、广涉程度与鉴定方法,兼而分析其鉴藏的资金来源与鉴赏作品的渠道。本文希望通过对于非闇书画鉴赏活动的考析,尽量还原于非闇及其所处历史社会的"真实图景",进一步贴近民国时期北京画坛众声鼎沸的多样生态。

As painting and calligraphy appreciation activities have played an important role and have special functions in the lives of Chinese literati,they have also become one of the important topics in the current study of Chinese art history.This paper studied the painting and calligraphy appreciation activities of Yu Feian(1889-1959),and discussed Yu’s cultivation,extensiveness,and appraisal methods in painting and calligraphy appreciation,as well as analyzed the source of funds for his appreciation and the appraised works.Through the analysis of Yu Feian’s painting and calligraphy appreciation activities,this paper attempted to restore the"authentic scene"of the historical society that Yu Feian lived,and further showed the diversified ecology that various voices emerged in the Beijing painting circle during the period of the Republic of China.
