摘要
在数字经济大发展背景下,互联网与国际贸易融合日渐紧密,企业外贸活动发生深刻变化。本文利用2004-2009年中国工业企业数据和海关数据,采用倾向得分匹配和双重差分法,实证检验了互联网应用对企业出口产品技术水平的影响及其机制。研究发现,互联网应用总体上促进了企业出口产品技术水平的提升;互联网应用的影响是其正反两方面共同作用的结果,对一般贸易出口企业主要表现为正向影响,对加工贸易出口企业则是负向影响。进一步异质性检验发现,互联网应用仅显著促进了中小企业、私营外资企业的出口产品技术水平的提升。
Under the background of the rapid development of digital economy,the integration of Internet and international trade is increasingly close,and the foreign trade activities of enterprises have undergone profound changes.Based on the data of China’s industrial enterprises and customs from 2004 to 2009,this paper empirically tests the impact of internet application usage on the technological level of export products and investigates its mechanism by using propensity score matching and difference-in-difference method.The results show that while the usage of Internet applications overall promotes the technical level of export products,the impacts vary across different sectors.Namely,has heterogeneous effect.It affects general export enterprises positively and has a negative impact on processing export enterprises.Further heterogeneity test shows that Internet applications only significantly promotes the technical level of export products of SMEs,private enterprises and foreign-funded enterprises.
