Objective To explore the application effect of the combination of PBL and skill operation in clinical teaching of obstetrics and gynecology. Methods 68 clinical medical students accepted by the department of obstetrics and gynecology in the hospital from February 2018 to February 2020 were selected as the research objects.According to the random grouping method, they were divided into two groups.34 students who taught pure PBL case data were selected as the control group, and 34 students who combined PBL and skill manipulation in clinical teaching were selected as the observation group. The theory and practice of the two groups of students were assessed to assess the quality of their teaching. At the same time, after teaching, the two groups of students were evaluated for their satisfaction with clinical teaching. Results The observation group’s theoretical examination and practical skill assessment scores were superior to those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the observation group’s satisfaction with the teaching program was significantly higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion In the clinical teaching of obstetrics and gynecology, the use of a teaching program that combines PBL and skill manipulation can improve students'satisfaction with teaching, promote their learning enthusiasm, and can optimize their theoretical and skill levels.
