摘要
医学英语教学属于应用英语(English for specific purposes,ESP)教学的分支,传统的医学英语词汇教学缺乏系统性和趣味性,难以引起学生的兴趣。本研究以肾脏学英语词汇为例,将图式理论应用到医学英语词汇教学中,通过建立词根词缀图式、主题图式和文化图式,科学有效地帮助学生学习医学英语词汇,为医学英语词汇教学开辟新的思路。
Medical English teaching is a branch of ESP teaching.Traditional ways of teaching medical English vocabulary is often lack of systemic perspective and recreational elements,so it is difficult to arouse students’interest.By taking English vocabulary of nephrology as an example,this study applies schema theory to the teaching of medical English vocabulary,and proposes that the establishment of root and suffix schema,subject schema and cultural schema can help students learn medical English vocabulary in a more scientific and effective way,thus providing new ideas for the teaching of medical English vocabulary.
