摘要
汽车主消声器在加装三元催化转化器后发生失效。采用金相、化学分析、电镜、X射线衍射等方法对失效件进行了综合分析。得出 ,导致消声器失效的主要原因是 ,汽油燃烧生成的硫的氧化物与消声器内经三元催化后产生的冷凝水反应生成硫酸对消声器造成腐蚀失效。采取在消声器上钻孔排冷凝水的方法 。
It was found that the primary muffler was failure when the tricatalyzing exchanger was installed. By means of metallographic test, chemical analysis, SEM and X ray diffraction etc, the result showed that the main reason of the failure should be corrosion caused by sulfuric acid, which was produced by the reaction of cooling water and sulphur oxide gas from the combustion process of gasoline. After the muffler being drilled to let off the cooling water, the failure problem had been resolved completely.
