The reform of quality education requires teachers to successfully cultivate students’English core literacy in the process of English teaching.As a language discipline,English core literacy mainly includes students’English practical ability,divergent thinking ability,English literature literacy and English self-learning ability.Teachers should start from these four aspects and focus on cultivating students’comprehensive abilities to improve students’English learning efficiency effectively.
