Huang Jiqing: A researcher of geological history

黄汲清是中国近现代地质事业的重要奠基人之一,其在区域地质学、大地构造学、古生物学、地质制图学等方面取得卓越贡献。除科学工作外,他在中国地质学史方面也做了大量研究工作。黄汲清关注地质学学科前沿发展和历史进程,对中国地质科学的发展有冷静、睿智的思考。本文根据黄汲清撰写的多篇地质学史论文及其他新发现的材料,揭示黄汲清除地质学家的另一个身份——地质学史研究者。

Huang Jiqing is one of the most important founders of modern geology in China.He had made outstanding contributions in regional geology,geotectology,paleontology and geological cartography.In addition to scientific work,he also did a lot of research on the history of Chinese geology.Huang Jiqing paid much of his attention to the frontier development and historical process of geology,and had calm and wise thinking about the development of geological science in China.Based on the papers on geological history written by Huang Jiqing and other newly discovered materials,this article reveals another identity of Huang Jiqing:a researcher of geological history.
