This paper introduced the assessment index setting and evaluation method of regional compensation measures of water environment in Tianjin City,analyzed the water environment quality status and the management effect of each district.The implementation of the measures is of great significance to implement the territorial management responsibility of water pollution prevention and control,mobilize the enthusiasm of water pollution prevention and control work in each district,gradually improve the water environment quality,and strengthen the cooperation mechanism of"common protection and joint governance"in the upper and lower reaches of the basin.
