两职合一视角下高管海外经历对企业创新绩效的影响

The influence of overseas executive experience on innovation performance from the perspective of CEO duality

摘要 高管的海外经历作为高管的重要特征,影响其在企业内制定战略决策的过程,进而影响企业创新。通过对2012~2017年我国制造业A股上市公司的研究发现,高管的海外经历对创新绩效具有积极的促进作用,是否两职合一具有调节作用,且两职合一的调节作用大于非两职合一。基于实证结论,制造业上市公司可以适当聘请拥有海外经历的高管加入高管团队,同时考虑两职合一的内部治理结构,激发高管特殊经历对创新的积极影响。 As an important characteristic of top management,overseas experience influences the process of making strategic decision in the enterprise,and then influences the innovation of the enterprise.Based on 2012~2017 Chinese manufacturing a-share listed companies as the research object,this paper analyzes the influence of overseas experience on innovation performance and the contextual effect of CEO duality.The results show that the overseas experience positively affects the innovation performance.Whether CEO duality has different moderating effect on the relationship between overseas experience and innovation performance,and the moderating effect of CEO duality is greater than that of non-two-in-one.Based on the empirical results,listed manufacturing companies can appropriately employ senior executives with overseas experience and enterprises can appropriately consider the internal governance structure of CEO duality.
