文化自信是一定的民族、国家、政党及其人民对自身文化理想和文化价值的高度认同和积极践行,对自身文化生命力和文化创造力的坚定信心,对自身借鉴、吸收、包容世界优秀文化能力的高度信心。当代中国的文化自信具有鲜明的时代特征和社会主义属性,其实质是中国特色社会主义文化自信,其核心是社会主义核心价值观自信。

Cultural self-confidence is a certain nation,state,political party and its people’s high recognition and active practice of their own cultural ideals and cultural values,their firm confidence in their own cultural vitality and cultural creativity,and their high confidence in their ability to learn from,absorb and embrace the world’s outstanding cultures. The cultural confidence of contemporary China has distinctive characteristics of the times and socialist attributes,and its essence is socialist cultural confidence with Chinese characteristics,the core of which is the confidence in core socialist values.
