摘要
年龄相关性黄斑变性(AMD)是一种不可逆性视网膜退行性病变,是全球50岁以上人群视力受损的主要因素之一,当前针对该疾病的治疗措施有限。近年来,二甲双胍在治疗各系统疾病、肿瘤及衰老相关性疾病中均展现了良好的应用前景,其中涉及的病理机制也为治疗AMD提供了思路。本文旨在对二甲双胍在AMD中的潜在应用价值进行综述。
Age-related macular degeneration(AMD)is an irreversible degenerative disease of the retina.It is one of the main causes of visual impairment in people over 50 years of age worldwide.Current treatments for this disease are limited.In recent years,metformin has shown good application prospects in the treatment of various system diseases,tumors and aging-related diseases,and the pathological mechanisms involved also provide ideas for the treatment of AMD.This paper aims to review the potential application value of metformin in AMD.
