从现实的维度审视,建设教育强国是国家发展的战略选择,不仅为新时代教育事业发展带来了重要的战略机遇,而且将在经济、政治、科技、文化和社会等多个维度服务于现代化建设总体布局;从历史的角度考察,教育事业在中华文明的传承和创新中历来被赋予了特别的含义,建设教育强国是千百年来中华民族的历史夙愿和热切企盼。古代“重教兴学”的传统为新时代教育强国战略的提出培育了丰厚的历史沃土,近代“教育救国”的理想和新中国“科教兴国”的路径则为其提供了深厚的理论支持。当前,中国教育进入了一个由规模增长阶段转向高质量发展阶段的新时代,在新时代建设教育强国要重视推动教育公平发展,促进教育质量提升,加强教师队伍建设,优化教育治理。

From a realistic point of view,building a powerful nation in education is a strategy chosen the state.It has brought important opportunities for the development of education in the new era,and it will serve the overall layout of modernization in the aspect of politics,economy,culture and society and so on.From a historical perspective,education has always been given special meaning in the inheritance and innovation of Chinese civilization,and building a powerful nation in education has always been the common aspiration and wish of the Chinese nation for thousands of years.The ancient tradition of“emphasizing education and prospering learning”has cultivated a rich historical fertile soil for the strategy of building a powerful country through education in the new era,and the ideal of“saving the nation by education”and the path of“invigorating the country through science,technology and education”in the contemporary era provide a profound theoretical support for this strategy.At present,the development of Chinese education has shifted from the phase of growth in scale to that of high-quality development,thus,building a powerful nation in education shall emphasize on and promote education equity,improve education quality,improve the quality of teachers,and optimize educational governance in this new stage.
