In 2001,the United Nations resolution declared May 22 of each year as International Day for Biodiversity.Biodiversity refers to terrestrial,marine and other aquatic ecosystems and the ecological complexes of which they are composed.China is one of the countries with the richest biodiversity in the world.The Sanjiangyuan region,located in the hinterland of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau,is the most concentrated area of biodiversity on the plateau.Today,we will talk about an endangered species that needs more attention in this region-the alpine musk deer.
