媒体报道对医药企业环境信息披露的影响

Influence of Media Reports on Environmental Information Disclosure of Pharmaceutical Enterprises

在构建绿色生态文明进程中,媒体报道对企业环境信息披露起着重要的监督作用,成为当前社会关注的热点问题。本研究以2013~2018年沪深证券交易所上市交易的所有A股医药公司数据为基础,运用多元回归方法实证检验了媒体报道对医药企业环境信息披露的影响。研究表明,对医药企业环境信息的媒体报道能显著促进企业的环境信息披露水平;报纸媒体对医药企业环境信息披露的促进作用弱于网络媒体;报纸媒体负面报道对医药企业环境信息披露水平的影响比网络媒体负面报道更强。对此,要构建有效法规政策体系,强化医药企业的环境信息披露;建设良好媒体传播环境,提升医药企业媒体监督效果;推进传统媒体与新媒体融合,强化医药企业媒体监督机制等。

In the process of building green ecological civilization, media reports have played an important oversight role in the environmental information disclosure of enterprises, which has also become one of social focuses. Based on the data of all A-share pharmaceutical listed companies from 2013 to 2017, this paper used multiple regression method to empirically test the impact of media reports on the environmental information disclosure of pharmaceutical companies. The results show that the media reports on the environmental information of pharmaceutical enterprises can significantly promote its level of environmental information disclosure. The promoting effect of newspaper on environmental information disclosure of pharmaceutical enterprises is weaker than that of network media.The negative reports of newspaper have a stronger influence on the level of environmental information disclosure of pharmaceutical enterprises than those of network media. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen the monitoring role of media reports on the environmental information disclosure of pharmaceutical enterprises through some measures, such as improving the construction of media marketization, promoting the reform of network media,and strengthening the integration of traditional media and new media, and so on.
