关于边疆历史地图集编制设计的研究--以《地图上的中国新疆》为例

Research on the Compilation and Design of Frontier Historical Atlas:Take"China′s Xinjiang on the Map"as an Example

以《地图上的中国新疆》为例,分析了我国边疆地区历史地图集编制设计的特点和规律,并根据新疆的地域特色和历史地图的编制特性,以地图集设计为切入点,重点探讨了边疆历史地图的内容体系设计、结构编排设计、符号和色彩等可视化要素设计、装帧设计等4个方面的内容,对于中国边疆地区历史地图集的设计编制具有一定的参考价值。

This article takes"China′s Xinjiang on a Map"as an example to analyze the characteristics and laws of the compilation and design of historical atlases in my country′s border areas,and according to the regional characteristics of Xinjiang and the compilation characteristics of historical maps,the atlas design is the starting point.It mainly discusses the content system design,structural layout design,symbol and color design of visual elements,binding design and other four aspects of the historical map of border areas,which have certain reference value for the design and compilation of historical atlases of border areas in my country.
