基于D5/3小波的医学图像压缩算法研究

摘要 针对医学图像的特点进行分析,选择小波变换对图像进行分解,但第一代小波变换存在缺陷,选择了第二代D5/3小波的提升方案对医学图像进行小波变换,再结合多级树集合分裂算法(SPIHT)进行改进,引入给定阈值思想。在Matlab中对大量医学图片进行仿真实验,实验仿真结果表明,该算法与传统的压缩算法相比较,在峰值信噪比(PSNR)和重构图像质量上都有较大的提高,更适合于医学图像压缩。 According to the characteristics of medical image,wavelet transform is selected to decompose the image.Because of the defects of the first generation wavelet transform,the lifting scheme of the second generation D5/3 wavelet is selected to transform the medical image,and then combined with the multi-level tree set splitting algorithm(SPIHT)to improve,introducing the idea of given threshold.A large number of remote sensing images have been simulated in Matlab and the simulation results show that compared with the traditional compression algorithm,the proposed algorithm has a great improvement in terms of the peak signal to noise ratio(PSNR)and reconstructed image quality,so it is more suitable for remote sensing image compression.
