Objective:To explore the influence of different intensities of battling rope exercise on mental health of college students with obsessive-compulsive symptoms.Method:30 students were randomly divided into three groups:low, medium and high intensities. Each of which was 10.After exercise, the heart rate was 100~110,130~140,150~160 times/min,3 times a week, for 8 weeks. The vital capacity, step index, back muscle strength, and vertical jump were measured before and after the experiment. Results:There were significant or very significant differences before and after the experiment in each group. After exercise, there were significant differences in lung capacity and back muscle strength between the high-intensity group and the low-intensity group. In vertical jump, there was significant difference between high intensity group and middle intensity group, and significant difference between high intensity group and low intensity group. Conclusion:Battling rope exercise can significantly improve the physical fitness of college students with obsessive-compulsive symptoms, and the effects of improving lung function, back muscle strength and lower limb muscle in high-intensity battling rope exercise are significantly better than those in low and moderate intensities.
