This paper introduces several typical cooling technologies for IP rotors of steam turbines imported from abroad.The basic principle,operation and maintenance of the medium pressure rotor cooling steam system and the typical structure design adopted by the world's major power generation equipment manufacturers in this field are briefly described.Through this paper,the power plant operation and maintenance personnel can further understand the working principle of cooling steam,and has certain help to the actual operation and maintenance.
