In recent years,the rapid development of biotechnology provides a new way for the breeding of maize with excellent traits,which not only speeds up the process of new varieties of maize breeding,but also improves the efficiency of maize breeding.This paper introduces the advantages of using biotechnology in maize breeding,and lists several common methods of biotechnology maize breeding.
