面向全民的健康信息素养教育:公共图书馆大有可为

Health Information Literacy Education for the Whole Society:Great Potentials for Public Library

随着社会发展和信息环境的变化,公众需提升健康信息素养以应对重大突发公共卫生事件,满足更高水平的健康需求,公共图书馆可成为全民健康信息素养教育的先锋部队和主阵地。本文采用文献调查和网络调研的方法调查了我国公共图书馆健康信息服务的现状,从公共图书馆自身条件、国家政策和公众需求三方面分析了公共图书馆开展全民健康信息素养教育的必要性,并提出了构建全民健康信息素养教育内容体系、创新教育形式、组建教育联队、广泛与社会各方合作的全民健康信息素养教育创新路径。

With the development of society and the change of information environment,the public need to improve their health information literacy in response to major public health emergencies.Public library can be the vanguard and assume a major role in health information literacy education for the whole society.This paper adopts literature survey and network survey to investigate the current situation of health information service in public libraries in China,analyzes the necessity of carrying out health information literacy education for the whole society in public libraries from three aspects—public library’s own conditions,national policies and public needs,and puts forward the innovative path of the health information literacy education,which includes constructing the content system of health information literacy education for the whole society,innovating the form of education,developing an education team,and cooperating with all parties in the society extensively.
