Improving the efficacy of therapeutic vaccines against HPV related malignancy by Caerin peptide

人乳头瘤病毒(HPV)引起的相关疾病严重危害人类健康,急需研发新的有效治疗手段。免疫时使用抗IL-10受体抗体或IL-10抑制肽暂时阻断IL-10,可提高疫苗诱导的T细胞反应,更好地抑制肿瘤生长。来自两栖动物的天然Caerin多肽在体内外具有广谱的抗肿瘤效果,刺激肿瘤细胞分泌炎性细胞因子对肿瘤微环境造成干扰和破坏的作用,提高HPV治疗性疫苗效果。文章就HPV治疗性疫苗研发现状以及Caerin多肽提高HPV治疗性疫苗效率和机制进行综述。

Persistent human papillomavirus(HPV)associated diseases can lead to serious health problems and effective new treatments are urgently needed.Blocking interleukin 10(IL-10)by anti-IL-10 receptor antibody or IL-10 inhibitory peptide at the time of immunization elicited stronger vaccine-mediated T lymphocyte response and better inhibition of tumor growth.Caerin peptides from amphibian has broad-spectrum anti-tumor effect in vitro and in vivo,stimulates the secretion of inflammatory cytokines to destroy the tumor microenvironment and increase the efficacy of therapeutic vaccines.In this review,the current status of HPV therapeutic vaccine and the mechanism of Caerin peptide to improve the efficacy of HPV therapeutic vaccine are summarized.
