高水平行业特色高校学科建设面临的矛盾关系与应对策略

The Contradictory Relations and Countermeasures Faced by High-level Industry-characteristic Universities in Their Discipline Construction

行业特色高校是我国高等教育经过历次院系调整和行政管理体制改革的产物,是在围绕行业、依托行业、支持行业的进程中自然形成的高校类别。高水平行业特色高校在"双一流"建设中既有先天优势,也有明显不足。高水平行业特色高校要想在"双一流"建设中有所作为并保持健康快速的可持续发展,必须处理好行业特色与学科特色、学科质量与学科数量、传统学科与新兴学科、学科发展与学校发展四对矛盾关系。

The industry-characteristic university is the product of the previous department adjustments and the administrative management system reform in China higher education,which is a kind of university category centered on the industry,relied on the industry and supporting the industry.Under the background of the"double-first class"construction,the industry-characteristic university has its own inherent advantages as well as obvious shortcomings.In order to contend for the first place in the construction of "double-first class"and maintain sound,rapid and sustainable development,the industry-characteristic university should coordinate four pairs of relationships,that is,balancing industry characteristics against discipline characteristics,discipline quality against discipline quantity,traditional disciplines against emerging disciplines,and discipline development against school development.
