财政支出对城乡居民收入差距的时空效应分析

Analysis of Spatial Temporal Effects of Fiscal Expenditure on Urban and Rural Income Gap

基于2005—2018年中国31省面板数据,通过构建动态空间杜宾模型实证分析政府财政支出对城乡居民收入差距的时空效应。研究表明:中国城乡居民收入差距正处于逐年稳步缩小阶段,总体呈现出内陆向沿海梯度递减的分布格局,区域间差距平稳缩小;城乡居民收入差距具有显著的空间集聚特征,集聚程度偶有波动但总体逐渐增强,区域间辐射带动作用较强;较高的政府财政支出对城乡居民收入差距的抑制作用显著,提高地方政府财政支出占比会抑制本地及周边地区城乡居民收入差距加剧。

This paper empirically analyzes the spatiotemporal effects of government fiscal expenditure on urban and rural income gap by constructing a dynamic spatial Dobbin model on the basis of panel datum of 31 provinces in China from 2005 to 2018.The results show that the overall distribution pattern is gradually decreasing from inland to coastal areas and the regional gap is steadily narrowing as the income gap between urban and rural residents in China is steadily reducing year by year;the urban and rural income gap is characterized by significant spatial agglomeration and the regional radiation driving effect is strong despite that the degree of agglomeration will fluctuate occasionally when the overall has increased gradually;higher government financial expenditure has shown a significantly inhibitory effect on urban and rural income gap which suggests that the proportion of local government fiscal expenditure should be increased to inhibit the urban and rural income gap in local and surrounding areas.
