外商直接投资对中国企业嵌入全球价值链稳定性的影响研究

Research on the Influence of FDI on the Stability of Chinese Enterprises’Embedding in Global Value Chain

利用中国企业微观数据,通过对企业嵌入全球价值链持续时间的测度,探究外商直接投资对中国企业嵌入全球价值链稳定性的影响。研究结果表明:外商直接投资对于增强企业嵌入全球价值链的稳定性具有积极的促进作用,其作用主要体现为行业内的水平溢出效应。外商直接投资可增强外资企业以及民营企业嵌入全球价值链的稳定性。无论企业是否涉及中间品,外商直接投资均能在水平关联上促进其嵌入全球价值链的稳定性;在前向关联上,虽然会增强未涉及中间品的企业嵌入全球价值链的稳定性,但却会抑制涉及中间品的企业嵌入全球价值链的稳定性;在后向关联上,仅能增强未涉及中间品的企业嵌入全球价值链的稳定性。在传导机制上,外商直接投资通过提升出口产品质量增强企业嵌入全球价值链的稳定性。

Based on the micro data of Chinese enterprises,this paper measures the duration of enterprises embedded in global value chain(GVC),and explores the impact of foreign direct investment(FDI)on the stability of Chinese enterprises embedded in GVC.The results show that FDI plays a positive role in enhancing the stability of enterprises embedded in GVC,which is mainly reflected in the horizontal spillover effect within the industry.FDI can enhance the stability of foreign and private enterprises embedded in GVC.Whether enterprises are involved in intermediate products or not,FDI can promote the stability of their embedding in GVC in horizontal correlation.In the forward linkage,FDI can enhance the stability of enterprises not involved in intermediate goods embedded in GVC,but inhibit the stability of enterprises involved in intermediate goods embedded in GVC;in terms of backward linkages,it can only enhance the stability of enterprises not involved in intermediate goods embedded in GVC.In the transmission mechanism,FDI enhances the stability of enterprises embedded in GVC by improving the quality of export products.
