Accurate Context Creation in Primary English Reading Enlightenment Lessons

英语阅读能力作为一项重要的语言技能,应当从起始年级就开始有意识地培养。而任何语言的学习都离不开语境,本文从课堂实践出发,探讨了如何设计有意义的精准语境,将三年级教材中每个单元的Start to read这一板块的字母认读、单词认读和语篇阅读有机串联在一起,在情境教学中达到培养起始年段学生英语阅读能力的目的。

As an important language skill,English reading ability should be developed consciously from the beginning of primary school.No language can be learned without context,so this article discusses how to design a meaningful and precise context,which can organically connect the letter recognition,word recognition and text reading of the“Start to read”section in each unit of the Grade 3 textbook,so as to achieve the purpose of developing students’English reading ability in the beginning years in situational teaching.
