Research Progress of PTEN Gene in Breast Cancer

研究发现,随着我国癌症患者数量的增长,在女性癌症患者中,我国新增乳腺癌患者在全世界占12.2%,其中死亡率是9.6%。由此可见,女性乳腺癌为目前多发癌症之一。研究中发现,其与抑癌基因PTEN的突变或缺失显著增强肿瘤细胞的增殖存在密切联系,为乳腺癌早期防治提供了线索,本研究综述了PTEN在乳腺癌中的相关进展。

The research finds that with the increase number of cancer patients in China,among women cancer patients,the increasing number of cancer patients in China accounts 12.2%,and the death rate is 9.6%.Therefore,the breast cancer in women is one of the common cancers at present.It is closely related with mutation or lack of cancer suppressor gene PTEN which causes the proliferation of cancer cell.This provides the early prevention and treatment of breast cancer.The research reviews PTEN in breast cancer.
