Life material is derived from some common phenomena in real life.This paper briefly describes the definition and characteristics of life materials,point out physics life teaching is based on life theory,constructivism theory and Dewey theory.Teachers should use life materials to enrich physics knowledge,deepen physics teaching content and improve physics experiment.Teachers should pay attention to the combination of theory and practice,integrate more life materials into teaching activities,and shorten the distance between students and knowledge.
