Sequence problems play a vital role in senior middle school mathematics education.This paper analyzes the meaning of sequence and the importance of learning sequence.This paper points out the common problems in sequence teaching,discusses the problem-solving strategies in senior middle school mathematics teaching from the following aspects:making clear the examination points of college entrance examination,actively combining with inequality and analytic geometry,making students firmly master the basic knowledge of sequence,mastering the basic method of solving general terms,and understanding and mastering the method of summation of sequence.
