象似性视域下语法隐喻的共时和历时研究

Synchronic and Diachronic Studies of Grammatical Metaphors from Perspective of Iconicity

通过语法隐喻现象的象似性阐释,从共时和历时角度对其进行语料分析,为语法隐喻提供认知层面的理据性补充。从共时性角度看,语法隐喻通过语义层映射事件域,构建命题意义;而通过形式层对事件关系的映射,使命题意义和表述意义出现分歧。而从历时角度看,意义则在相同意象图示的跨域映射和象似性的过程中发生迁移。

This paper is to analyze the grammatical metaphors from diachronic and synchronic perspectives based on the iconicity interpretation as a rational supplement for the grammatical metaphors from the perspective of cognition.From the perspective vision of synchronicity,the grammatical metaphor constructs a propositional meaning by mapping the event domain to the semantic level.By mapping the formal level to the event relation,the propositional meaning and the declarative meaning are diverged.From the diachronic point of view,the meaning transformation is obtained through the cross-domain mapping and the iconicity of the image schema.
