Treatment of Acne with“San Tong Method”

本文介绍“三通法”在痤疮治疗中的运用。“三通法”包括开通表里、通气活血、通寒透热。开通表里法主要针对肺胃蕴热、热毒壅滞证,使肺热得透,内热得清,发挥透表达里之功;通气活血法主要针对痰瘀互结、瘀毒阻络证,通过调畅脏腑气机,使气血调顺,痰瘀得消;通寒透热法主要针对上热下寒证,通过清宣上焦,温补下焦,以达阴阳调和之态。

This article introduced the application of“San Tong Method”in the treatment of acne.“San Tong Method”is a general term of three therapies,which consists of treating the superficies and interior symptoms,ventilating and promoting blood circulation,and mildly regulating cold and heat.“Superficies and interior symptoms therapy”is mainly designed for the patients who suffer from accumulated heat of lung and stomach and syndrome of congestion and stagnation of heat-toxin.This method helps to remove lung heat and endogenous heat,which exerts its virtue of permeating exterior symptoms to treat interior diseases.“Ventilate and promote blood circulation”is used to treat those who have the symptoms including phlegm and blood stasis as well as stagnation of static blood and poison.By modulating qi of zang-fu viscera,the qi and blood can be regulated,and the phlegm stasis can be cleaned.“Mildly regulating cold and heat”is a therapy for patients with syndrome of upper-jiao heat and lower-jiao cold.Through clearing upper-jiao and warmly invigorating lower-jiao,the body can be in a state of yin-yang harmony.
