从翻译美学视角看《袁中郎的瓶花》汉译本

On the Chinese Version of Yuan Zhonglang’s Vase Flower From the Perspective of Translation Aesthetics

中国传统美学与翻译学的联姻所形成的翻译美学理论体系,蕴含着恒久的精神内涵与美学价值,对指导翻译实践具有特殊的意义。《袁中郎的瓶花》一文选自林语堂英文散文集《生活的艺术》,其文学语言平实、富有哲理性,描绘了生活的理想状态,美学特质主要以“闲适”为主。翻译家越裔作为审美主体,通过对审美语言符号的准确解码、体察原作的审美理想,结合本身的情、知、才、志等,从词语层、句子层和意象层,将原作的美学价值再现于译本中。

Chinese traditional aesthetics integrates all kinds of aesthetic activities into people’s consciousness world,and gradually internalizes the beauty of the objective world.This paper takes the translator of Yue Yi as the aesthetic subject and Lin Yutang’s prose Yuan Zhonglang’s Vase Flower as the aesthetic object to explore the aesthetic effect of the translation.The purpose of this paper is to explore the aesthetic value of prose translation and improve the ability of aesthetic judgment.
