The Theory and Practice of Urban Renewal in China

城市更新是一种将城市中不适应现代化城市社会生活的地区作必要的、有计划的改建活动。新中国成立以来,中国城市建设取得了巨大成就,城市更新理论也在实践中逐步完善,但是伴随着城市化的快速发展,各种城市问题也随之而来。因此,解决好中国城市化进程中的不适应性问题是城市更新的发展趋势。同时,进入21世纪,不只是我国的城市需要更新,城市更新的理论也需要深化,更需要积极探索出符合时代发展主题的、符合国情的城市更新理论与方法。对城市更新的基础理论、更新方法与具体实践进行梳理与分析,总结城市更新的模式,查找存在的问题,并提出针对性的对策建议,为我国城市更新理论的深入研究提供依据与借鉴,为城市更新方案的制定与实施提供帮助与参考。

Urban renewal is a necessary and planned reconstruction activity in areas that do not adapt to the social life of modern cities.Since the founding of New China,China’s urban construction has made great achievements,and the theory of urban renewal has been gradually improved in practice,but with the rapid development of urbanization,various urban problems have followed.Therefore,solving the problem of inadaptability in the process of urbanization in China is the development trend of urban renewal.At the same time,entering the 21st century,not only the cities of our country need to be updated,but also the theory of urban renewal needs to be deepened,and it is also necessary to actively explore the theory and method of urban renewal in accordance with the theme of the development of the times and the national conditions.This paper analyzes the basic theory,method and practice of urban renewal,summarizes the mode of urban renewal,finds out the existing problems,and puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions,in order to provide basis and reference for the further study of urban renewal theory in China,and to provide help and reference for the formulation and implementation of urban renewal scheme.
