革弊立新,稳中求变——苏颂教育改良思想刍议

摘要 北宋重臣苏颂是一位百科全书式的人物,在教育方面也颇有建树。其教育思想内容丰富,涉及学校教育、课程建设、师资队伍和科举制度等多方面,隐含着革弊立新、稳中求变的改良思想,不仅切中时弊、针对性强,对于今天的教育改革与创新也不无裨益。苏颂一生谨慎,不尚空谈,而求务实。他对教育的改良,是一生谨慎的写照。苏颂历经庆历新政、熙宁变法和元祐更化等社会变革,虽然称不上改革家,但能够顺应潮流创新求变,凸显一腔为国为民的热情。 Su Song,an important official in the Northern Song Dynasty,was a personages of encyclopedia type and made great achievements in education.His educational thought was rich in content,involving school education,curriculum construction,teaching staff construction and imperial examination system,etc.,which implied the reform thought of reforming the shortcomings and establishing new things,and simultaneously seeking changes in stability.The thought not only criticized the social evils sharply at that time,but also benefited today's education reform and innovation.Su Song was cautious all his life,refraining from prattle and being realistic and pragmatic.His improvement in education was a reflection of his cautiousness.Su Song experienced social changes such as the Qingli Reformation Time,Xining Reform and Yuanyou Coup.Though not a reformer,Su Song was able to adapt to the trend of innovation and change,showing his enthusiasm for the country and the people.
