摘要
加入连接词,也称连接词显化,是翻译中的一个很常见的现象。本文的目的就是探究大学生在翻译中加入连接词的动因。本文收集到20篇大学生汉英翻译文本,找出了添加的连接词,并对译者进行访谈,分析他们显化的动因。
Adding connectors,or connector explicitation,is a frequent phenomenon in translation.This paper aimed to explore college students’motivations for the addition of connectors.The study collected 20 college students’Chinese to English translations and identified the connector additions.Then translators were interviewed to find out their motivations to perform such shifts.
