《唐律疏议》书名考述

《唐律疏议》一书有异称《律疏》《故唐律疏议》《故唐律疏义》《唐律疏义》等。其中,《律疏》为原名,唐覆灭后该书书名前被冠以“唐”或“故唐”,清代以后《唐律疏议》一名最为流行。书名中的“疏”原乃“义疏”之意,但在后世刊刻的过程中,由于人们对书中“疏”与“议曰”之间关系的不同理解,将“疏”与“议曰”相连,使该书的内容结构发生了变化,书名也随之产生“疏义”与“疏议”的异称。

The book The Tang Code has different titles,such as Lv Shu,Gu Tang Lv Shu Yi(comments),Gu Tang Lv Shu Yi(connotation),Tang Lv Shu Yi(connotation),Tang Lv Shu Yi(comments),etc.,among which Lv Shu is the original one.After the fall of the Tang Dynasty,“Tang”or“Gu Tang”was added to the title.Tang Lv Shu Yi(comments)was the most popular title after the Qing Dynasty.“Shu”originally meant explain,but in the following publication,due to people's different understanding of the relationship between“Shu”and“Yi(comments)Yue”in the book,“Shu”and“Yi(comments)Yue”were mixed,as a result,the content structure of the book was changed.The title of the book also has different versions of“Shu Yi(connotation)”and“Shu Yi(comments)”.
