《关于瑶苗民族中工作的原则指示》若干基本问题考辨

Analysis of Several Basic Issues of Principle Instructions on Work among Yao and Miao Ethnic Minorities

长征中《红星》报1934年第六期刊发了《关于瑶苗民族中工作的原则指示》。指示应是中共中央、中国工农红军总政治部联合发出;发出指示并特别突出瑶族、苗族,是因为中央、红军总政治部认为这既是当时争取以瑶族、苗族为主的桂东北少数民族的支持以使红军顺利通过桂东北的需要,也是将来争取以苗族为主的湘鄂川黔边少数民族的支持以在湘鄂川黔边创造新苏区的需要;指示应是1934年11月29日或30日,至迟刊发于《红星》报,当然也有12月上旬刊发的可能。

During the Long March,"Red Star"newspaper published Principle Instructions on Work among Yao and Miao Ethnic Minorities in its sixth issue in 1934.The instructions should have been jointly issued by the CPC Central Committee and the General Political Department of the Chinese Workers’and Peasants’Red Army.The instructions were given and Yao and Miao ethnic minorities were particularly highlighted because the CPC Central Committee and the General Political Department of the Red Army thought that there was not only the need to win the support from ethnic minorities in Northeast Guangxi,mainly the Yao and the Miao people,so that the Red Army could successfully pass through the region,but also the need to win the support of ethnic minorities in Hunan,Hubei,Sichuan and Guizhou,mainly the Miao people,to create a new Soviet area there.The instructions should have been published in Red Star between November 29th and early December,1934.
