摘要
由于聚丙烯(PP)的极限氧指数(LOI)仅为18%左右,限制了其在许多阻燃要求较高领域的应用,以季戊四醇、三氯氧磷、双酚-S为原料合成新型环保磷-硫(P-S)复配协效阻燃剂(FR)制得复合材料。利用傅里叶变换红外(FTIR)光谱对FR的结构进行了分析,利用扫描电子显微镜(SEM)和能谱仪(EDS)对复合材料的表面形态和元素组成进行了测试。通过垂直水平燃烧测定仪、极限氧指数仪和锥形量热仪考察复合材料的阻燃效果以及热稳定性能。最后表征了复合材料的力学性能。结果表明FR的添加量为20%时复合材料达到垂直燃测试UL94 V-1等级,LOI提高至24.6%,且具有良好的热稳定性,从而迅速降低了火灾危险性。
Because the limiting oxygen index(LOI)of polypropylene(PP)was only about 18%,its application in many fields with high flame retardant requirements was limited.A new type of environmentally friendly flame retardant(FR)was synthesized by pentaerythritol,phosphorus oxychloride and bisphenol-S.The structure of FR was analyzed by Fourier transform infrared(FTIR)spectroscopy.The surface morphology and element composition of the composite were tested by scanning electron microscope(SEM)and energy dispersive spectrometer(EDS).The flame retardancy and thermal stability of the composites were investigated by vertical horizontal combustion tester,limiting oxygen index(LOI)tester and cone calorimeter.Finally,the mechanical properties of the composites were characterized.The results show when the content of FR is 20%,the composite reaches the V-1 level of UL94,LOI is increased to 24.6%,and has good thermal stability,which reduces the fire risk rapidly.
