Patriotism Education on College Students:Aim,Principles,and Methods

爱国主义彰显了中华民族的民族魂、民族心,爱国主义教育是增强中华民族凝聚力、向心力和竞争力的关键举措。大学生爱国主义教育的培育目标是厚植“知”国之明、灌溉爱国之“情”、胸怀强国之“志”和实践报国之“行”。应遵循感性教育与理性精神并存原则、理论指导与实践教育并重原则以及自我教育与环境熏陶并行原则,通过挖掘感性素材,培育理性精神;丰富理论知识、开展社会实践以及引导自我教育、深化环境熏陶等方法,促进大学生爱国主义教育的高效开展。

Patriotism,showing Chinese people’s soul and heart,works as a critical measure to strengthen Chinese people’s cohesive force,centripetal force,and competence.The aim of patriotism education on college students includes developing wisdom of“knowing”the country,cultivating patriotism of“loving”the country,setting up“ideal”of strengthening the country,and practicing the“action”of serving the country.We should follow the principles,including co-existence of perceptual education and rational spirit,equal emphasis on theoretical education and practical education,parallel conducted self-education and environment edification.In the meanwhile,we should promote patriotism education on college students through the following approaches including developing perceptual materials,cultivating rational spirit,enriching theoretical knowledge,conducting social practice,guiding self-education,deepening environmental edification,and so on.
