摘要
《四库全书总目》史部地理类、子部释家类著录较多佛教史籍。作为官方、儒家的代言人,《总目》具有强烈的官方意识和儒家立场,著录的佛教史籍多为官方和儒家的资治之用。《总目》对佛教史籍的评述褒贬兼有,既有对助于考据、存史信史的肯定,也有对体裁、体例、内容的贬斥。《总目》的佛教史籍批评观是中国古代官方、儒家士人、传统学术对佛教典籍乃至佛教认知的一种集中体现。
There are many Buddhist historical books recorded in the Class of Geography of History division and Class of Buddhism of Zi division in SIKUQUANSHUZONGMU. It holds a strong official consciousness and Confucian viewpoint, and most of the Buddhist historical books in it are for the official and Confucian practical applications. The comments on Buddhist historical books take positive and negative attitudes to books at the same time, which not only affirm their contribution to textual research and preserving history, but also denounce the genre, style and contents. The thought of comments reveal the ancient officers and scholars’ attitudes towards Buddhist books and Buddhism.
