Mao Zedong’s On the Correct Handling of Contradictions Among the People expounded the theory of socialist social contradictions with the law of unity of opposites.This theory creatively explains and develops important issues such as the objective universality and function of socialist social contradictions,two kinds of social contradictions of,basic social contradictions and principal social contradictions.It creatively explores the law of development of socialist society,and fundamentally points out the direction for us to further understand and grasp the law of development of socialism with Chinese characteristics and adhere to and develop socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.It has both theoretical and practical values.
