摘要
本文结合既有研究成果以及田野调查积累的经验与资料,在系统分析泰北山区华文学校发展变迁历史的基础上,揭示了泰北山区华文教育不同于东南亚乃至世界其他地区华文学校的办学传统与模式。研究显示,“军人办学”传统始终贯穿泰北山区华文学校的具体办学实践过程中并延续至今。“军人办学”传统对泰北山区华文教育影响深远。泰北山区华文教育如需走出目前的办学困境,需对“军人办学”传统进行调整。
Based on existing research literature and data accumulated in a field work, this paper tries, through analyzing the development history of overseas Chinese schools in the mountain area of northern Thailand, to summarize the tradition of "military-run schools" that is different from those in Southeast Asian countries and other regions of the world. As this study shows, the tradition of "military-run schools" has run through the whole process of overseas Chinese education in the mountain area of northern Thailand till this day. The tradition of "military-run schools" has a profound and important influence on the development of overseas Chinese education in that area. To take overseas Chinese education in the mountain area of northern Thailand out of its current dilemma, the tradition of "military-run schools" has to be adjusted.
