Application of Virtual Reality Technology in Deception Research

欺骗行为在人类生活中一直扮演着重要的角色。实验室构建模拟场景是研究欺骗行为的一个重要技术手段。但是模拟真实的场景需要花费大量的人力物力,并且难以有效地操控。最近虚拟现实技术的发展为欺骗行为的研究提供了低成本、生态化、可量化和实时操控的实验场景。本文总结了虚拟现实技术的发展及其在欺骗研究中的应用,并对虚拟现实技术在该领域的未来发展方向进行了展望。

Deception has played an important role in human life.Mock crime scenes in the laboratory have been used as a research tool for deception study.However,generating scenarios is very costive and difficult to manipulate effectively.Today's virtual reality technology has provided low-cost,ecological,quantifiable,and manipulative experimental scenarios for deception study.This paper summarizes the recent progress of virtual reality technology and its application in deception research,and discusses the future applications of virtual reality in the research field.
