“卓越计划”领军期刊与世界一流科技期刊的国际影响力对比分析

Comparative Analysis on the International Impact between Leading Journals of“Excellence Plan”and World-class Scientific Journals

[目的/意义]基于爱思唯尔旗下数据库Scopus和分析平台SciVal,比较“中国科技期刊卓越行动计划”领军期刊与世界一流科技期刊的国际影响力,以期为领军期刊进一步提高国际影响力提供参考。[方法/过程]首先,以22种“卓越计划”领军期刊2015-2019年发表的文献为研究对象,分别从文献总量、总被引频次、篇均被引频次、CiteScore、篇均阅读量、国际合作比例等指标对这22种领军期刊的国际影响力进行分析;其次,根据CiteScore排名,找出与这22种领军期刊对标的世界一流科技期刊并分析其相应的国际影响力;最后,选取3种代表性的期刊,通过进一步对比分析其文献量及类型、研究主题及其文献影响力、文献来源国家(地区)分布情况等,具体讨论领军期刊与世界一流科技期刊的差距及其影响力提升措施。[结果/结论]与世界一流科技期刊相比,2015-2019年“卓越计划”领军期刊发表文献的篇均被引频次、CiteScore、篇均阅读量等国际影响力指标明显偏低,因此,“卓越计划”领军期刊应根据自身定位和实际,科学地设置世界一流科技期刊“对标”指标,找差距、补短板,通过增大期刊有效信息密度、丰富栏目(文献)类型、敏锐捕捉科学前沿和热点、优化期刊选题、融入国际学术圈、拓展国际稿源等措施“做大做精做强做优”,大力争取世界一流科技成果的首发权,从而提高国际影响力。

[Purpose/significance]Based on Elsevier’s database Scopus and analysis platform SciVal,the international impacts of the leading journals of“China STEM Journal Excellence Action Plan”were compared with the world-class scientific journals,so as to provide references for the leading journals to improve their international impact further.[Method/process]Firstly,the international impact of 22 leading journals of“Excellence Plan”was studied by analyzing documents published from 2015 to 2019 in terms of total documents numbers,total citation frequency,citation frequency per document,CiteScore,reading per document and proportion of international cooperation.Secondly,according to CiteScore ranking,the comparative world-class scientific journals were selected and the international impact of these journals was analyzed.Thirdly,three representative journals were selected to further compare and analyze their documents quantity and types,research topics and documents influence,and the distribution of documents sources in countries(regions),etc.,and discuss the gap between leading journals and world-class scientific journals specifically.Finally,the measures on improving their influence were also proposed.[Result/conclusion]From 2015 to 2019,the citation frequency per document,CiteScore,and reading per document of leading journals in“Excellence Plan”are significantly lower than that of the world-class scientific journals.Therefore,the leading journals should scientifically set the benchmarking indexes of world-class scientific journals according to their own orientation and actual status,find the short board and fill the gap,take measures such as increasing the effective information density of journals,enriching the types of columns(documents),keenly capturing the scientific frontiers and hot spots,optimizing journal topic selection,integrating into the international academic community,attracting international manuscripts and other measures to be“bigger,more refined,stronger and better”,and strive for the first-rate scientific and technological achievements of the world,so as to improve the international influence.
