概念整合视角下汉语典故成语的隐喻英译 被引量:2

摘要 汉语典故成语形式简练、寓意深刻;文化内涵丰富,具有很强的隐喻性。故其翻译不仅承载了一般文本翻译的交际功能,还应当担起传播中国文化的责任。从目的语读者认知操作出发,结合概念整合理论,可反向对比分析出利于中国文化“走出去”的恰当英译版本。在取舍过程中,考虑典故成语的特点及翻译难点,通过整合套译、整合改译和整合释译,激发目的语读者原有认知空间与译文空间产生类属空间,从而形成整合空间来建构目的语读者了解中国文化的路径。 Chinese allusion idioms are not only concise in form and profound in meaning,but also rich in cultural connotation and characteristic in strong metaphor.The translation of allusion idioms should not only carry the communicative function like that of other general texts,but also should shoulder the responsibility of popularizing Chinese culture.Attempting to proceed from the cognitive operation of target language readers and combining with Conceptual Blending Theory,this paper reversely analyzes the appropriate English translation version that can help Chinese culture“go abroad”.Blending adaptation,corresponding translation and explanation are implemented by taking into account the characteristics of allusion idioms and difficulties in the translation of allusion idioms.Thus,the original cognitive space of the target readers and the translation space are triggered off to generate a generic space,thereby forming a blending space to construct a path for the target readers to understand Chinese culture.
