“塔西佗陷阱”并不适宜于当代的中国。在当代中国,“塔西佗陷阱”毫无疑问不是必然的。“塔西佗陷阱”针对的主要是古今中外的人类历史的某一特殊阶段、特殊状态。但是,“塔西佗陷阱”对于当代中国,也有其警示、警醒作用。而从中国传统社会的郡县制入手,对于郡县制的弊端尤其是郡县制的越位的思考,以及中国传统社会何以频频落入“塔西佗陷阱”的思考,恰恰可以给当代中国以深刻的启迪。这个启迪就是:人民就是江山,江山就是人民。

The"Tacitus Trap"is not suitable for contemporary China and it is undoubtedly not inevitable in contemporary China.What it mainly aimed at is the special stage or state of human history in ancient and modern times,both at home and abroad.However,it has its own warning and alert function when study on the abuse,especially the ultra vires with the county system in Chinese traditional society which leading the whole society frequently into the"Tacitus Trap".It can give profound enlightenment to contemporary China,that is:the nation is composed of people,and people are all that matter to the nation.
