By analyzing the relevant legal standards of elevator shallow pit technology,this paper clarifies the necessity of the application of shallow pit technology,lists the main types of in-service shallow pit technology,expounds the working principle of shallow pit,and points out the safety risks existing in the application of elevator shallow pit technology and the deficiencies existing in the requirements of relevant national standards,suggesting to further improve and revise the relevant documents and safety technical specifications.
