论张位《词林典故》修撰的原因及意义

The Reason and Significance of Zhang Wei’s Editing andPublishing Ci Lin Allusions

作为“词林”的翰林院在明代被目为仕途要津,翰林官的行为规范因之备受朝野瞩目。《词林典故》由翰林学士张位、于慎行等人在万历十四年(1586)编成并刊行。该书将明代翰林官的公务活动分为33类,不仅是明代翰林官的行为规范手册,也是明代万历时期官修典制的典范,起到了以“典故”形式约束翰林官言行的作用。从史学史的角度考量,该书还是明代中后期修史热潮中的产物,发挥了保存国故的重要作用。

The Hanlin Academy was regarded as an important official department in the Ming Dynasty,and the behavioral norms of Hanlin officials were highly valued by the government and the public.Ci Lin Allusions was edited and published by Hanlin Scholar Zhang Wei and Yu Shenxing in 1586.The book divides the official activities of Hanlin officials in the Ming Dynasty into 33 categories,which is not only the code of conduct manual of Hanlin officials in the Ming Dynasty,but also the model of official revision system in the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty,and plays a role in restricting the behavior s of Hanlin officials in the form of allusions.From the perspective of the history of historiography,the book is the product of the upsurge of historiography in the middle and late Ming Dynasty,and plays an important role in preserving national heritage.
