环境不确定性对企业绩效的影响——供应链集中度的调节作用

The Impact of Environmental Uncertainty on Enterprise Performance——The Moderating Role of Supply Chain Concentration

为了更好地了解环境不确定性、供应链集中度、企业绩效三者之间的关系,基于交易成本理论和资源依赖理论,利用沪深A股制造业上市公司的样本数据,分析了环境不确定性和供应链集中度对企业绩效的影响,以及将供应链集中度区分为供应商集中度和客户集中度后在环境不确定性和企业绩效之间的调节作用。研究结果表明,一方面,环境不确定性、供应链集中度(包含供应商集中度和客户集中度)分别与企业绩效之间呈显著负相关;另一方面,供应商集中度和客户集中度越高,会削弱环境不确定性对企业绩效的负面影响,且二者的作用途径虽然不同,但是作用效果却基本相同。研究结果为企业如何在变幻莫测的环境下生存发展提供了启示。

In order to better understand the relationship among environmental uncertainty,supply chain concentration,and enterprise performance,based on transaction cost theory and resource dependence theory,by using sample data from manufacturing listed companies of China,the paper analyzes the impact of environmental uncertainty and supply chain concentration on the enterprise performance,and the moderating role of supply chain concentration between environmental uncertainty and enterprise performance after dividing the supply chain concentration into supplier concentration and customer concentration.The research results show that environmental uncertainty,supply chain concentration(including supplier concentration and customer concentration)are significantly negatively correlated with corporate performance.However the higher the concentration of suppliers and customers,the more they can decrease the negative impact of environmental uncertainty on corporate performance.The two basically have the same effects despite different methods of action.The research makes suggestions on how enterprises survive and develop in an uncertain environment.
