Household Environment DIY: An Users-oriented Home Renovation Approach

随着生活水平的提高,传统家装方式难以满足日益增长的家居环境品质与个性化要求。文章首先分析传统家装方式的局限性——家居环境很难依靠外部力量(设计师)一步到位地建造出来,而需要靠使用者在生活中慢慢地营造与维护;然后提出一种新方法——使用者自主营造家居空间,并结合实际案例对这种新方式进行详细阐述并分析相关策略;最后对新旧方式进行对比,并讨论适合家居环境DIY的行业模式与设计师可能面临的角色转变。

As the enhancement of the living standard, the traditional home renovation approach could not meet the rising need of household environment quality and customization. The paper analyses the limitation of traditional home renovation approach that the household environment is difficult to build only by the external forces, and it needs the constant care and creation from the users in their daily lives. Then a new approach is proposed that users create their own home space. Then, the paper elaborates on this new method in combination with actual cases and analyzes related strategies. The comparison with the new and old approaches are made, and then the future mode of home renovation industry and possible changes of designer's role is discussed.
